I was very lucky to have recently assisted the very talented Zoe Clark, http://www.zoeclark.com, and her team at the Marks & Spencer Autumn/Winter fashion show at the Aviva stadium. It was a great evening and we had 2 different looks to complete. One was for the younger models, a very fresh face with yellow/orange tone eye make-up and natural lip and the older models had a more bronzed look, smokey eye with a beautiful pink lip. They both complemented the gorgeous M&S collections perfectly and the final result was a stunning show.
Well, Cheryl is back on our screens every Saturday and Sunday, from now until Christmas and to be honest, I’m more interested in what she and Danni are wearing than the acts taking part. Looking at how she’s transformed over the years is amazing, with both her looks and her public image. It seems she can do no wrong in the eyes of the public. However she did reach a point where her hair and make-up took on a life of it’s own and the girl next door started looking a little too like a Barbie doll. I’m so glad to see now that she’s tamed down the ott hair extensions and over tanned look. She has the most amazing eye’s and in this second pic below I just love how they pop with the black liner and lashings of mascara and the nude lip is so sophisticated. I really hope she keeps this new toned down look and is well over her WAG days!
My latest photoshoot was a bridal theme and my good friend Jilly very kindly agreed to be my model. I’ll be doing her wedding make-up next year so we decided to treat this as a trial as well. As you can see she did an amazing job and the very lovely Photographer Hugh Chaloner http://www.hughchaloner.com couldn’t resist taking a full length shot of Jilly and her bump. You can see the other shots in my bridal gallery but I have to say I just love this pic. She looks so happy and radiant and I was so thrilled with the final pictures!
Being a huge Kylie fan since her ‘I Should Be So Lucky’ days, I’ve loved her music and her ever changing looks for over 20 years (god I feel old!!!). She’s aged amazingly, and always looks fabulous and I love the way her skin is always glowing. She’s had a rough few years recovering from Cancer but I think she has come out the other side a much stronger and beautiful woman. However, admitting to having had a little help from Botox, lets hope she knows when enough is enough and continues to look fabulous for another 20 years!
I’ve always loved Rachel McAdams and she always looks so well groomed. I spotted this image of her on the red carpet and just love the toned down more natural look she’s gone for, perfect for a bride!
